A Church expansion.

Eph. 2:19–22

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

My sister & brother-in-law have been building on to their house. With each step our family gets an update — The beams are up! The insulation is in!

God has been constructing a holy house made up of believers for years. It started with the work of the Apostles who saw Jesus and taught the Word of God.

It grew when generations of believers taught those same truths from the written word.

And now you're a part of the team too:
It expands to include you and those you love.

Why is it better to know that the family of God is an old, sturdy building rather than a new invention? Who do you know that you want to invite to be a part of the building?

1 Peter 3:21–22 This water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.
