A mind transformed, not conformed.

Romans 12:1–2

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Kids are impressionable. They love to mimic what they see other people doing.

Adults aren't all that different. You're influenced by what you see on T.V., what you listen to, who you follow.

It impacts how you act, think, and feel.

You have another influence, though.

Your mind is reshaped and renewed by the will of your God. And as you pattern your life after his will, it brings him joy.

When does the world negatively influence your thoughts or actions most frequently? How might you let God's word guide you more?
