From thoughts to words.

Psalm 141:3–4

Set a guard over my mouth, Lord;
keep watch over the door of my lips.
Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil
so that I take part in wicked deeds
along with those who are evildoers;
do not let me eat their delicacies.

Which is hardest to control – Thoughts, Words, or Actions?

Often, disobedience starts in the heart and drifts to what you say or do. In the end they're all hard to look over.

The Lord looks over all of you. He sees your struggle with sin and forgives.

He's also your strength to fight what is wrong. Lean on him in temptation.

Do you find it most difficult to control your thoughts, words, or actions? What is one way you can rely on God in a moment of temptation?
