God's great renovation project.

Isaiah 40:3–5

A voice of one calling:
“In the wilderness prepare
the way for the Lord;
make straight in the desert
a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be raised up,
every mountain and hill made low;
the rough ground shall become level,
the rugged places a plain.

And the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken."

"There are only two seasons... Winter and construction." Work on our roads never ends.

Isaiah the prophet sees God paving a highway in the desert. But God isn't paving I-71 or the parkway... it's your heart.

Through repentance — a call to turn from sin and toward God's love — God paves the way for the coming Savior.

Get ready for the coming of God's glory — Jesus.

When has your heart felt too broken or sinful for God to enter?
God makes highways in deserts... What does this say about His power to reach you?

Isaiah 2:1–3 This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: In the last days:the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” Read the context When you're not sure what you're waiting for,...
