He cares about their hardships.

Exodus 3:7–10

The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey...
So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

"Does God really care about us?"

Under the heavy work of the Egyptian slave drivers... could you blame one of God's people for asking this question?

"Does God really care about me?"

Worried about a diagnosis or crushed with guilt... could you blame someone for asking this today?

But he sees. He knows. He's concerned with your hardship.

The same God who saw, cared, and delivered then—sees, cares, and delivers now. He hasn’t changed, and neither has his plan to bring you home.

When have you felt like asking, "Does God really care about me?" How has he shown his concern for you in the past?

Romans 5:9–11 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Read the context What's the most expensive thing you've ever purchased? Romans 5:6–8 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Read the context Who would you be willing to die for? I'm guessing your list might be short: A friend... a child... a spouse... But what about someone who consistently wrongs you?...

Luke 19:9–10 Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was… So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him… When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” …Jesus said, “Today salvation has come to this house… For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Read the context Zacchaeus...
