Press on.

Phil. 3:10-12

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

At mile 24 of the Flying Pig, the finish line—not comfort—keeps runners going.

The Christian life can feel the same.

But Christ's resurrection gives purpose to every step, even the painful ones. In every cross you carry, God turns your eyes to Jesus—his suffering, his victory, and your hope.

The struggle is real, but your victory in Jesus is even more real.

When have you felt struggle like Paul describes? What does it mean to “press on” in your life of faith?
