That's my kid.

Isaiah 63:7–8

I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, — according to all the Lord has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.

He said, “Surely they are my people, children who will be true to me”; and so he became their Savior.

Kids are putting on a performance at school. One kid is scream-singing above the rest. "Yep... that's my kid!" the parent says with a grin.

Family shows kindness despite flaws. Love with brokenness.

God chooses his family — he chooses you. Not because you're flawless, but because he's a loving Father.

And in his kindness, he sent you a Savior.

He's smiling at you. "That's my kid."

When have you felt like the "imperfect kid" that someone chose to love anyway? How does it feel to hear God say "that's my child" about you?
