Psalm 24:7–10

Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.

Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.

The parade stretched on for miles. Everyone wanted to celebrate the return of the king.

The city couldn't wait.

The world waits for the return of our God. Two thousand years ago he walked into Jerusalem to win eternity for you. Today you wait for Jesus to make this world new.

So grab a spot to watch and wait — read his promises in scripture.

Look forward to the return of your king.
