They look alike.

Matt. 13:28–31

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

“‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

My lawn mowing schedule has recently been thrown off. The grass is long enough now that it's started to look like wheat. (Apologies to the neighbors.) Wheat and weeds can look similar.

Believers and unbelievers can look similar — similar careers, lives, values... but faith makes them different.

Until our God returns this world will be filled with both. Trust his grace to keep you until that day.

The time until Jesus returns is often called a person's "time of grace." How do you see God's mercy for the world in this stretch of time before he returns?
