Wisdom > Wealth.

1 Kings 3

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

...

Solomon answered... "Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

"Ask for whatever you want me to give you..." What would you have asked for? Peace? Wealth? Success?

Wisdom is worth it. Solomon is not only asking for smarts, he's asking for the Lord's guidance.

Shouldn't you ask for the same?

You can't buy a good like that with all the money in the world.

Lord, guide my steps and my thoughts!

What does it mean for your steps to be guided by the Lord's wisdom today?
