Looking back, looking ahead.

Col. 3:15–17

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Peace, thanksgiving, and praise... Three words that shape the Christian life. Three words for all your years.

As 2025 ends, look back and see where your Savior surprised you with his love. Looking back or looking ahead, you find confidence in God's promises of forgiveness and mercy. That's peace that shapes each day.

So let Christ's message dwell richly in you. Rest in Jesus' peace. Overflow with thanksgiving.

That's not just peace for New Year... it's for your every day.

When in this past year did you most clearly see God's faithfulness to you? Where might you let go of anxiety and live in Christ's peace in the new year?

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.
