Thank God for: the family of believers.

Philippians 1:3–6

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Church isn't just a weekly gathering—it's a family God has established to bear one another's burdens and advance his kingdom together.

Through shared faith, distance disappears. Believers hundreds of miles apart sustain each other through prayer and support. But they're not just there to help you — you're blessed with opportunities to serve them out of gratitude.

Thank God for the family of faith he's placed around you!

Who has quietly served you or prayed for you in ways you may have overlooked or forgotten to acknowledge?

Psalm 65:9–11 You care for the land and water it; —you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water — to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it. You drench its furrows and level its ridges; — you soften it with showers and bless its crops. You crown the year with your bounty, — and your carts overflow with abundance. Read the context Dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and a turkey. The table is covered in food on Thanksgiving. None of it...

1 Timothy 2:1–4 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. Read the context Paul encouraged believers to pray for a government that persecuted them. Why? Because God uses even what appears bad for good —...

Psalm 148:1–4 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. Read the context The earth is constantly talking. Can you hear its message? Stars shine. Sun and moon give light. The sky stretches further than you can see. Like an impressive work of art tells you about the...
