The builder never crumbles.

Psalm 27:4–5

One thing I ask from the Lord,
—this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent — and set me high upon a rock.

The church building was crumbling... but inside hearts were alive. People were hearing about the love of their God.

Where God's people gather together around his word, he builds his kingdom. Heart-by-heart he brings protection from a crumbling world to people with the promise of eternity.

It's a picture of what God will one day do: gather you and all believers to be with him eternally.

The building may crumble, but the builder never will.

When you walk into worship, what are you expecting to see and experience?
