The specialist you need.

Psalm 146:6–8

He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful forever.

He upholds the cause of the oppressed — and gives food to the hungry.

The Lord sets prisoners free,
the Lord gives sight to the blind,
the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down,— the Lord loves the righteous.

There are some messes most folks can't fix themselves: plumbing issues... electric... car troubles.

The world has even bigger problems that you can't fix: suffering, sadness, and death. You need a specialist.

God who created this world in the beginning has a plan to recreate it. He'll fix things the way they ought to be. When Jesus comes back, he'll make it all right.

This is the hope for your tomorrows.

What "messes" in your life or in the world feel too big for you to fix? How does it comfort you to know God is the Maker of heaven and earth?
