Ephesians 4:1-6

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Peace between nations, cultures, and even individuals is hard to find. We're quicker to find division. Peace takes sacrifice.

Eternal peace took sacrifice. It is only by your one Lord — Jesus Christ — that you have peace with God.

And it is only through the one shared faith and Lord that the Church has unity and peace.

When you see the differences, don't forget what God has made the same — we share one faith that doesn't change.

What sacrifices might you need to make to preserve the bond of peace among the family of believers?
