You stand with him.

Psalm 40:1–3a

I waited patiently for the Lord;
he turned to me and heard my cry.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.

He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.

Have you ever tried walking up a slippery hill? Every step feels like you're about to slide back to the bottom.

When you fall into the same temptation over and over, it can feel like you'll never gain your footing. The view from the bottom looking seems hopeless.

But you have hope. God stands above your struggle. He lifts you out of it and brushes you off in forgiveness.
Now, you stand with Him.
