Pray, then go.

Luke 10:1–3

After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

There was work to do. Towns to visit. People to meet. A message to share.

But not enough workers.

Jesus looked at the harvest and saw souls ready to hear. His first command wasn’t “Go." It was "Pray.”

Pray for workers. Then be one.

The world still overflows with need, and the workers are still few. There are people you know who need to hear. The Lord of the harvest is still calling, and still sending.

What keeps me from seeing the world as a harvest field? How can I start looking at my neighborhood, workplace, or friends like Jesus does?
