The questions flip.

Job 38:3–5

Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.

“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? — Tell me, if you understand.

Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!

Who stretched a measuring line across it?

Job and his friends had questions for God. Namely — why was Job suffering?

Finally, after all the questions, God answers with questions of his own. But God's questions don't address Job's pain, instead the LORD points to the bigger picture — the LORD has always been. He created this world.

Some questions might not have answers yet. But you can know this for sure: The God who knows every inch of this world knows you.

And he will never let you go.

What question are you carrying that you wish God would answer? What can you trust even if God seems silent?

Genesis 1:1–3 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Read the context It's tough to imagine nothing. You live in a world filled with stuff... so what was before the "stuff"? Before the world you know, God was. Matt. 28:18–20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Read the context On top of the mountain, I'm certain the disciples were worried about the future. But Jesus had work for them to do: GO....
