Vision problems.

Psalm 27:4–5

One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.

There's nothing more frustrating than vision problems. When you can't see, it's hard to function.

Have you ever slipped into spiritual vision problems? You know you should look to the Lord for your trust and confidence... but you keep finding yourself looking elsewhere.

Fix your eyes upon the Lord. He will keep you safe in his presence. He doesn't just fix your vision... he hides you in his shelter until the danger passes.

David asks for one thing. What would it look like for that to be your one thing today?

Psalm 63:1–5 You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. Rev. 22:1-2 & 17 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. ...
