Dedicated to the basics.

Acts 2:42–47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. ... Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

What's the Church supposed to be doing? Great question...

What it's always done — kept the main thing the main thing.

The Church strives to help those in need and care for those who suffer.

But above all the Church is chasing souls and bringing them to Jesus. It is dedicated to regular study and listening to the voice of the Shepherd.

Why? Because salvation is found in Jesus' life-giving words!

So many voices are competing for your attention. When's the last time you slowed down long enough to wonder what's worth listening to?

Acts 3:13–15 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. Read the context God's fingerprints were present throughout history: He spoke to the patriarchs — Abraham,...
