Thank God for: hearts at peace.

Phil. 4:4–7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

When Paul writes about rejoicing from a Roman jail cell... it's not just a theory. It's faith in action.

His secret? Bringing everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving. The world says peace comes from controlling your circumstances. Paul says it comes from giving them to God.

Anxiety or peace... the difference is where you take your worries. Thank God for thankful hearts that discover his peace guards you always.

What anxieties are you holding onto instead of bringing to God? Why?

What promises does this scripture give in response to worry?

Mark 10:13–16 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them. Philippians 1:3–6 I thank my God every time I remember you. Read the context Church isn't just a weekly gathering—it's a family God has established to bear one another's burdens and advance his kingdom together. Through shared faith, distance...

Psalm 65:9–11 You care for the land and water it; —you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water — to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it. You drench its furrows and level its ridges; — you soften it with showers and bless its crops. You crown the year with your bounty, — and your carts overflow with abundance. Read the context Dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and a turkey. The table is covered in food on Thanksgiving. None of it...
