What was planned all along.



Luke 24:44–48

He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things

How easily do you adjust to a change in plans? Some people pivot... others struggle.

For the disciples, Jesus' death and resurrection signaled a change in what they thought the plan was. They weren't expecting the death of their teacher.

But for God, this was the plan all along. That's what Jesus tells them and you — the cross was no mistake.

This was God's plan to save his people all along.

Why is it comforting to know that God's plan to save you was intentional and purposeful?
